The Program Supervisor - Montgomery Virtual Program oversees student online learning programming within the Office of Professional Learning, including providing leadership and expertise in the areas of online learning and related programming which will improve learning outcomes for all MVP students. The Program Supervisor - Montgomery Virtual Program will directly supervise staff within OPL as it pertains to the operation of Montgomery Virtual Program.\n\nQualifications:\nDegree required, technology and/or education-related certification(s) preferred\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in online education required.\nExperience with adult and student instruction (face-to-face and online) preferred.\nExperience in marketing and advertising preferred.\nExpertise (includes one or more of the following):\nKnowledge of Student Information Systems, Scheduling, Student Data\nProject Implementation and Management\nTeam Coaching\nKnowledge of budgeting or programs or initiatives\nCustomer and Stakeholder relations\nExperience working effectively and cooperatively with administration, parents, and professional and non-professional staff within the educational community.\nAbility to supervise and work effectively and cooperatively with administrative, professional, and non-professional staff.\nProficiency in the use of technology for individual communication and research.\nEmploys good oral and written communication skills; demonstrates good organizational skills.\nPossesses effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with other teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff, and outside professional contacts.\nQualities of leadership and good communication skills.\nOriginal certificates of clearance from the State Police, Child Abuse Registry, and PDE FBI.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nDirect daily operations of assigned online learning offerings for quality and effectiveness.\nMonitor program needs, manage workflows, and refine processes involving digital communication and information.\nOversee all facets of customer service related to assigned programs.\nCoordinate consortium purchases of educational technology, including renewals and contract negotiation/re-negotiation as appropriate\nManage assigned budgets to ensure program expenses are appropriate and do not exceed funding.\nSupervise MVP Recess and student event coordination.\nProvide training and support to school districts, non-public schools, IU personnel, and parents relative to all MVP programming.\nSupervise, and evaluate non-professional employees within the assigned program(s) based on MCIU policies and procedures, state initiatives, and best practices.\nRepresent the MCIU in local, state, and national organizations as assigned by the Director.\nCommunicate regularly and collaborate with OPL staff and supervisors, school district administration and staff, non-public school administration and staff, MCIU personnel, and other agencies.\nWork cooperatively with administration, parents, professionals, paraprofessionals, and support personnel in school districts, agencies, and MCIU programs.\nCreate and follow standard formats related to communication and data collection.\nMaintain and upgrade professional skills and knowledge through professional growth and development.\nPerform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Professional Learning.\n\nLocation:\nMCIU's Main Building (2 W.
