This role sits within a core engineering group responsible for ensuring all mechanical subsystems meet system-level requirements, reliability standards, and cost targets.Key ResponsibilitiesSelect and specify mechanical components for complex energy systemsCollaborate with systems engineering to align components with overall system requirementsDevelop technical specifications and support supplier selectionTroubleshoot component-level issues across operating systemsSupport validation, testing, and performance optimization activitiesWork cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and field teamsDrive reliability and cost improvements across mechanical subsystemsContribute to documentation, standards, and engineering best practicesQualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline3–6+ years' experience in mechanical/component engineeringExperience working on complex electro-mechanical or industrial systemsBackground in component selection, validation, or integrationExposure to supplier/vendor interaction preferredSkills & ExperienceStrong understanding of mechanical components (valves, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.)Experience working within system-level engineering environmentsAbility to troubleshoot performance and reliability issuesFamiliarity with technical specifications and engineering documentationStrong cross-functional communication skillsWhat’s on OfferHigh-impact role within a cutting-edge energy technology environmentExposure to full system lifecycle (design → validation → deployment)Strong collaboration across engineering disciplinesOpportunity to influence component strategy and system performanceClear progression within a growing technical teamCompetitive salary + benefits
