The ideal candidate will leverage data analysis, simulation, and lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes, improve quality, and reduce waste. This position requires strong expertise in control systems (MES, EAM, TPM, EMS, QMS, WMS), automation, and AGV integration, coupled with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with industry standards. A background in the battery industry or similar high-volume manufacturing environments is highly desirable, as is proficiency in data-driven problem-solving and process improvement.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and improve inefficiencies in processes, systems, and organizations\nDesign, develop, and implement integrated systems for managing industrial production processes\nUse data analysis, simulation, and operations research techniques to understand complex systems and identify areas for optimization\nApply lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase efficiency\nWork with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and achieve organizational goals\nLead as the Key User for various control systems including: MES, EAM, TPM, EMS QMS, WMS\nIntegrate new technologies, such as automation and AI solutions of various systems\nLead the optimization of AGV pathing and integration\nUse computer simulations to model and analyze complex systems\nPlan and design layouts for manufacturing plants, warehouse, and other facilities\nIdentify and lead the data capture of critical KPIs using various systems partnered with the IT team\nSupport in asset identification and control processes\nEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (ISO, ANSI, RIA)\nCollaboratively coordinate on future projects with both the local and overseas HQ team to ensure optimized processes and systems\nPerform other assigned duties.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 3 Years Experience directly in an Industrial Engineering Role\nMinimum 5 years of experience in identifying process inefficiencies and driving system solutions working within a manufacturing facility.\nProven experience driving execution within various Manufacturing Systems such as SCADA systems, Energy Management Systems, Enterprise Asset Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Quality Management Systems\nProven experience with the management of Value Stream maps as well as Plant Layouts\nExperience in the battery industry or similar industries like automotive and electrical manufacturing environments.\nExperience in highly automated environments\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nDesired Skills and Qualifications: Master’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering\nExperience working directly with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)\nExperience in Lithium Battery or manufacturing of electrical components\nThis job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
