In this role, you will build and lead a new engineering team in Austin while driving the delivery of a strategic initiative that helps Managed Service Providers (MSPs) monitor, automate, and optimize digital employee experiences across large customer environments.\n\nYou will be responsible for defining technical direction, building a high-performing team, and partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations leaders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that create measurable customer value.\n\nAs part of TeamViewer's AI-native engineering transformation, you will also help establish and evolve engineering practices that leverage AI-assisted development while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and reliability.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nBuild, hire, and lead a new software engineering team in Austin, establishing a strong engineering culture and operating model.\n\nOwn the delivery of a strategic, multi-phase DEX initiative that serves MSP customers at scale.\n\nDefine and execute the technical roadmap for your area in alignment with the broader DEX platform strategy.\n\nDrive the full software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and customer-focused.\n\nPartner with engineering, product, and operational leaders to align priorities and execution across teams.\n\nEstablish engineering best practices, development standards, and quality processes that enable teams to move quickly while maintaining strong technical foundations.\n\nChampion the effective adoption of AI-assisted development practices and help shape the organization's evolving AI engineering strategy.\n\nCoach and develop engineering leaders and senior engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience leading and growing software engineering organizations, including building or scaling teams.\n\nTrack record of delivering large-scale SaaS or cloud-based platforms.\n\nStrong technical background with experience in modern distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.\n\nExperience introducing and scaling AI-assisted software development practices within engineering teams.\n\nAbility to balance technical excellence, product priorities, and business outcomes.\n\nExperience setting engineering standards, development practices, and quality expectations across teams.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across engineering, product, and business functions.\n\nComfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where team, product, and process are evolving simultaneously.\n\nPreferred Experience\n\nExperience with MSP, endpoint management, IT operations, or digital employee experience platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with technologies such as C#, Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka, Databricks, SQL Server, and related cloud-native tooling.\n\nExperience leading teams that use AI coding agents, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or comparable tools, in production delivery at scale\n\nWorking knowledge of model-based failure modes (hallucination, context degradation, prompt injection, non-determinism)\n\nHow We Work\n\nWe believe AI-assisted development will play an increasingly important role in how software is built and delivered.
