In this role, the Quality Inspector inspects components, sub-assemblies, and finished products received and/or built internally. This position works with Quality Management to implement the proper sampling plans based on component specifications, inspection plans, or customer supplied requirements and to provide guidance on required quality tools, methods, and data to assure that shipped product fulfills all customer specifications and quality requirements. This position monitors and maintains Raycap quality processes to assure continual 100% customer satisfaction.\nPrimary Job Responsibilities\nCollects quality data as required to derive quality objectives\nExecutes and maintains comprehensive quality product inspections\nServes as a manufacturing focal point for intelligent analysis of quality issues determining true root causes and implementation of permanent corrective and preventive actions\nFollows and promotes the use of and implementation of internal quality standards and procedures\nReviews documentation for compliance to quality standards\nInspects First Articles, incoming components, raw materials, fabricated parts, and in-process assemblies and subassemblies products per Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements\nConducts subassembly tests as required to ensure quality products\nUses measuring equipment such as calipers and gauges\nAudits and monitors quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specifications\nDocuments and reports inspection findings, results and monitors corrective actions to inspection findings\nRegular adherence to performance of applicable procedures in the ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (OH&S MS); ensuring processes remain sustainable, suitable and effective in relation to position\nContinuous assessment of opportunities for improvement and any needed changes to management systems\nAssists with assembly work, when able\nQualifications\nHands-on quality and manufacturing experience in an ISO certified environment.\nProficient in MS Office, Access, Outlook and Adobe programs\nExperience with Document Control software\nFamiliarity with SAP, ISO-9001, knowledge and application of DFx, FMEA or similar Quality Systems is a plus\nPhysical Demands\nThe employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to operate basic tools, keyboards or controls; reach with hands and arms\nThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds\nWho We Are\nRaycap, Inc. creates products that protect and support the world’s most valuable assets.
