PRN Licensed Occupational Therapist or COTA, School Based or Virtual

Joan our team as a PRN OT or COTA, virtual or school based We are currently seeking a South Dakota Licensed Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team on a PRN basis to cover a leave of absence. This is an opportunity that could lead to more consistent long-term work. Job Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based or virtual setting Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans (OTR/L) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the student's support team Implement interventions to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual/motor skills and activities of daily living that pertain to students' educational success Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed (OTR/L) Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' educational goals Qualifications: Current license as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of South Dakota Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or pediatric setting required Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable using technology in the workplace Strong organizational skills About Teachwell Solutions : Teachwell Solutions is dedicated to providing high-quality educational services to students in need of specialized support.
