This hybrid role combines mechanical design, hands-on assembly, and field service support for cutting-edge automation and coil winding machinery.You will act as a key technical liaison between customers and our engineering teams in both the USA and Italy.This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level to mid-career engineer (0–5 years of experience) who thrives on a mix of independent problem-solving, hands-on mechanical work, and international collaboration.Principal Assignments & ResponsibilitiesDesign & Documentation: Assist in the 3D mechanical design and 2D detailing of machinery; develop comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.Assembly & Testing: Perform precision mechanical and machine assembly functions working within tight tolerances.Field Service & Installation: Travel to customer sites to install new machinery, guide clients through acceptance testing, and provide on-site troubleshooting for issues that cannot be resolved remotely.Remote Support: Answer customer service calls, connect remotely to machinery to diagnose issues, and provide technical solutions.International Coordination: Travel to Europe to run machine acceptance tests, ensuring equipment meets client specifications. Collaborate closely with US and Italian engineering departments to resolve complex technical challenges.Spare Parts & Logistics: Assist in identifying, documenting, and shipping required spare parts.Project Tracking: Rigorously document, monitor, and close out open technical issues for machinery in the field.Role RequirementsEducation & LanguagesEducation: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.Languages: Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) is required.
