Job Description HR Coordinator & AmpLocation: Dallas, TX 75236Pay Rate: $21.00/hrShift: 1st 5:00AM-3:00PM Monday through Friday but must be available on the weekendsDescription:Under the direction of the HR Manager, the HR Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for routine employee inquiries, both in person and over the phone, regarding benefits, employee relations, recruitment, and company programs. This role provides administrative support to the HR Manager and Human Resources team while helping ensure efficient day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, bilingual in English and Spanish, and able to maintain confidentiality while supporting employees at all levels of the organization.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews and checking applicant referencesCoordinate and process drug screens and background checks for new hiresPrepare offer letters and explain company policies, procedures, and benefits to employeesProcess new hire paperwork and conduct new hire orientationEnter employee information into E-Verify for employment eligibility verificationAssist with 401(k) enrollment and benefit orientation for eligible employeesCoordinate open positions with staffing agencies and manage temporary employee processesMaintain employee personnel files and records in compliance with retention requirementsTrack and submit temporary employee hours to staffing agenciesReset passwords and assist employees with HR kiosk accessProvide receptionist backup support by answering phones and assisting vendors entering the facilityCommunicate employee concerns and issues to the HR Manager in a timely mannerAssist with administering employee benefits and training initiativesWork closely with Payroll regarding employee status changes and time-off requestsAssist with planning and coordinating company events including health fairs, employee recognition events, holiday celebrations, and company functionsPromote consistency in company policies, procedures, and guidelinesMaintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company informationSupport additional HR and administrative duties as assignedSaturday work may be required based on business needsMaintain reliable attendance and punctualityQualificationsAssociates Degree in Human Resources or a combination of education and relevant experienceMinimum of 1 year of Human Resources or administrative experienceBilingual in English and Spanish requiredWorking knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organizationStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentialityPhysical DemandsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyStanding and walking less than one-third of the workdaySitting more than two-thirds of the workdayFrequent use of hands for typing, handling documents, and office equipmentOccasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingWork EnvironmentThis position works in a manufacturing environment where employees may be exposed to cold temperatures, including coolers below 40F and freezers below 0F.
