Skill Set : Smart Hands / Network Field Engineers Designation : Dispatch (on-demand) Language : English (C1 Level) Contract : B2B/Freelance Days Per Week : on-demand Location : St. Louis, MO, USA Scope of work: FE(Field Engineer) will be responsible for onsite installation, connectivity, and support activities related to Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) deployments across multiple sites in California Role Responsibilities: Rack & stack and structured cabling Install2 x Cisco 9800 WLCs per site Perform fiber connectivity, SFP installation, and patching (fiber & Ethernet) Execute power/network cross-connections and validate switchports Stage equipment before cutover Support remote teams during cutover and validate installations Decommission legacy WLCs (40–50% sites), including packing and return preparation Project Scope: On-call / ticket-based assignments (no guaranteed hours) 1 site per day(small/medium sites) Weekend work for larger sites Tools & Requirements: Must have: console cable, hotspot, label maker, rack screws Should arrange (cost reimbursable): SFP modules, fiber patch cords, Ethernet patch cords Strong hands-on experience in networking, cabling, and field support
