Based out of our Miami, FL office we provide expert support for PLCs and/or DCS systems. You will be on a team of customer support engineers who analyze, and address problems associated with the installation, start-up, and operation of sophisticated distributed control systems and sub-systems at customer locations.\n\nIn this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\n\nPerform a variety of related functions such as: on-side instruction of customer personnel, writing and modifying maintenance procedures, quality control tests and/or product evaluation, provide complete and timely reports on all activities with an emphasis on defining problems encountered.\nDirect the efforts of personnel engaged in installation of control systems, sub-systems, equipment, or their routine modification/repair.\nProvide direct engineering advisory assistance to the customer, and liaison within the company, on issues dealing with the equipment or related matters.\nCultivate relationships with internal project teams, customer project teams, and contractors.\nApply troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills.\n\nWho You Are:\n\nYou understand the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships. Show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations and are outstanding at spotting and seizing opportunities and acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems.\n\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a similar technical curriculum, or relevant field engineer experience in lieu of education.\nExperience with ControlWave SCADA\nUnderstanding of basic networking and computer assembly/troubleshooting experience.\nWillingness and ability to travel up to 70-80% to meet business needs. This includes some weekends and overnight stays of 1-3 weeks at a time.
