Provide clear, accurate information; explain procedures or materials or provide supplemental information; anticipate problems and questions.\nCoordinate with other application and technical leaders to ensure the architecture and infrastructure are designed for optimal reusability and integration, while adhering to DIA standards.\nInform customers and other team members of testing processes and adequately discuss final products with pertinent parties before systems are fully implemented.\nMaintain consistent, high quality, customer-focused orientation when conducting business and providing services. Treat customers with respect, courtesy and tact while maintaining a business relationship.\nProvide guidance and recommendations involving program modifications or upgrades that interface with database software as needed.\nIdentify and implement process improvements and develop associated Standard Operating Procedures documentation.\nComply with business process controls and department goals through documentation, monitoring and reporting critical activities.\nMaintain strong working knowledge of all core applications and in-house enhancements.\nMake recommendations for application use and enhancements.\nAct as a catalyst for change to ensure business and IT best practices.\nResponsible for developing, integrating and maintaining innovative and cost-effective business solutions using IT, business and industry trends.\nKeep abreast of emerging technologies for potential DIA applications; evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies.\nPerform necessary administrative functions including status reporting, system/requirements documentation as needed.\nQualifications and Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and related work experience. Master’s degree a plus.\nMinimum of 6 years professional software systems development experience in a .NET environment using Microsoft Visual Studio. A proven track record of software/systems development excellence.\nMust have .NET 4.5 or higher and MS SQL Server 2012 or higher experience. Proficient in SQL and stored procedure/function/trigger development. Experience with .NET MVC or .NET Core is desirable.\nTwo years’ experience integrating Web Content Management Systems (CMS) within a .NET framework; experience with Sitecore integration strongly preferred.\nExpertise with programming language, preferably C#, VB.NET, Python.\nSolid knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Experience with SASS is desirable.\nWeb technology experience (Web Security, Networking, IIS Manager, IIS Web Logging.\nExperience with Angular Web Application Framework or the Progressive JavaScript Framework Vue is desirable.\nExperience with Association Management Systems (AMS) or strong experience with CRM systems integration is desirable.\nExperience with financial systems integrations is desirable; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Oracle NetSuite integration preferred.\nExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience is desirable.\nSolid experience with Agile project development methodologies is a must; experience with Scrum and Kanban project development methodologies required. Knowledge of data collection, storage, and maintenance concepts.\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot Website, CMS, and related systems.\nSenior level technologist with broad skills focused on adding value through the delivery of IT solutions; proactive in taking responsibility for tasks ranging from solving a technical issue to consulting with management on potential future projects.\nBusiness process knowledge.
