Please apply only if you have an active TS clearance***\nNorth Point Technology is seeking an experienced TS/SCI Cleared DevOps Engineer to provide mission critical support. This role will work to develop and support IC enterprise products in an Agile SAFe environment. As a DevOps Engineer on this program, you will have the opportunity to build strong systems and software utilizing cloud capabilities and Agile experience to support a complex program. Based in DevOps framework, you will participate in and/or direct major deliverables throughout all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.\nApplicants should be self-motivated, curious problem solvers with experience with the following tools, processes and technologies:\nResponsibilities:\nThe primary duties will be to support the deployment of microservices via a DevSecOps pipeline within a Linux-based multi-tenant environment.\nDevelop, update, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline code\nConfigure, troubleshoot, and deploy docker containers\nReview code within Git and extract/create engineering documentation as needed\nSupport Developer deployments\nProvide technical guidance for all capabilities/microservices\nSupport Developer testing in the environment\nCreate and Maintain DevOps documentation\nConduct Security remediation as needed from scans\nCore Qualifications:\nProactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.\nUnderstanding of custom code development/reviews\nExperience with GITLAB functionality, error codes and scripting\nExperience using AWS services/technologies (e.g. CloudFormation, S3, ECS)\nExperience with AWS Serverless architectures (lambda, API gateway, load balancing, autoscaling)\nExperience supporting development testing\nExperience with cloud-based architectures\nUnderstanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflow\nExperience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines\nKnowledge of SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices\nTeam Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)\nMust possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hire\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\nTypically requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.\nActive TS/SCI\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with GitLab CI/CD\nExperience with AWS Lambda and AWS ECS\nExperience with troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying docker containers\nAWS certification (e.g. DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)\nLinux certifications\nExperience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies\nNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country's most crucial missions!
