Pump Operator","description":"ELEMENT TECHNICAL SERVICES LLC is currently hiring the following position:\n\nNitrogen Pump Operator\n\nJob Duties\n\nAssessment of the valves and seats in the pump\n\nResponsible for maintenance and sampling schedule of the pump\n\nChanging the packing on the Bowie Pump\n\nFamiliarity and identification of the iron, sizes and pressure ratings\n\nKnowledge of the critical components listing\n\nUse of proper specialty tools for pumps and rebuilding pumps as needed\n\nTraining and mentorship of less experienced coworkers\n\nRebuilding 2X2, 2X1 valves\n\nVac out unit as needed\n\nUnderstands and executes proper winter procedures\n\nIdentifies and becomes familiar with the scope of each job\n\nUnderstanding of the Emergency Shut Down Procedures\n\nPerform pre and post trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety and roadworthiness\n\nAttend pre-job safety meetings\n\nComply with applicable legislation including safe operation, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, fatigue management\n\nManeuver equipment following appropriate hand signals.\n\nMaintain driver logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status.\n\nMaintains effective communication with co-workers\n\nRequirements\n\nClass 1 driver's license (CDL) with Air brake endorsement\n\nSatisfactory driving record\n\nPrior experience an asset\n\nKnowledge of truck and equipment safety\n\nUse of timelines and time management\n\nHigh level of personal integrity\n\nStrong work ethic\n\nMature demeanor under stressful situations\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\n\nWork independently in a busy environment and diverse environment\n\nWork Conditions\n\nRotation schedules vary 20/10\n\nPhysical ability to lift up to 50lb\n\nTravel to off-site locations required\n\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) e.g. coveralls, steel-toed safety
