and Technical Debt Reduction\nConduct deep technical code reviews focused on:\ncorrectness, maintainability, performance, and security\narchitectural consistency and implementation standards\ntestability and unit test coverage enforcement\nEstablish quality gates and enforce maintainability standards through tools like SonarQube and pipeline-based controls.\nMentor developers on engineering best practices, enterprise Java patterns, CI/CD automation, secure coding standards, and container-native delivery.\nTesting, Verification, Compliance and Delivery Evidence\nSupport and enforce Section 508 accessibility compliance, including ensuring required testing evidence and reporting support where needed\nEnsure required documentation, test evidence, and release artifacts are produced in alignment with ITAC delivery requirements and ORR readiness.\nEnsure testing is embedded across the SDLC, including:\nunit testing, integration testing, functional testing, regression ITAC release governance.\nSupport production deployments and operational readiness activities, including:\ndeployment coordination with ITAC DevOps/EOps/CM teams\nimplementation planning, rollback/back-out readiness, and ORR stage gate support\nRequirements\nExperience\n8+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments.\n2–3+ years of experience leading teams and/or owning architecture/design decisions and delivery outcomes.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred).\nCertification\nPreferred certifications include:\nCloud certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP)\nArchitecture certifications (TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture credentials)\nTechnical Skills (Required)\nJava development experience and enterprise frameworks.\nProficiency with GitHub and/or Bitbucket (branching strategies, pull request workflows, and peer
