All applicants must be US persons within the meaning of ITAR/EAR. ITAR/EAR defines a US person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nGather, clean and assemble a variety of cylinder components and bearings for final assembly and kitting\nComplete final assembly of small to large bore cylinders using chart drawings, routings, and work instructions\nPerform operational testing of hydraulic and pneumatic products under pressure; document test results as required\nInspect products to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications, including assembly accuracy and smooth operation\nPrepare, paint (mixing/spraying special and standard paints), and route cylinders through shipping; conduct final inspection for painting finish, completeness, and correct parts/accessories\nSupport flexibility within the Assembly Department, including coverage for absences/time off\nAssist with indirect functions such as stockroom and kitting as assigned\nWhat We're Looking For\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, standard operating procedures, and router process sheets\nProficient in reading, writing, counting, and following special paint instructions; able to use standard inspection tools\nCapable of moving at least 30 pounds independently; seeking assistance for heavier items\nHigh school diploma or GED from an accredited institution\nMinimum of one (1) year manufacturing experience\nMust reside within a 50-mile radius of Jackson, Michigan (no relocation provided)\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOne (1) year hydraulic testing experience\nExperience with engineering test equipment\nOne (1) year spray-painting experience\nProficiency in machine shop math\nSkilled in operating power hand tools and using micrometers, calipers and other measuring instruments\nWhat You'll Get from Us\n\nWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.\nYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
