Miller keeps the tradition alive by focusing on its top priority: people.\n\nJob Description\n\nJob Description\nA Printed Circuit Board Assembler is responsible for assembling printed circuit boards by rotating through multiple work areas. These work areas will include but are not limited to Heat sink, Pre-assembly, Kitting, Prep, setup/Tear-down, Slide Line, and Final. The individual must be a self-starter, a team player, and be quality conscious with concern for the customer's needs and on-time delivery. This person will also be responsible for training others.\nEssential Functions:\nAssemble circuit boards according to the layout drawing, bills of material, and manufacturing documentation using work instructions to meet IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards\nInspect circuit boards to ensure IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards are met\nUse computers, small hand, and torque tools, scales, calculators, and rulers\nProvide adequate coverage to PCB assembly areas including but not limited to Heat sink, Pre-assembly, Kitting, Prep, Set-up/Tear-down, Slide Line, and Final\nRepetitive, fast-paced, and accurate hand insertion of electronic components into PCBs\nCommunicate effectively with co-workers in a team environment\nPrioritize workload to meet daily and weekly production goals\nEnsure that the assigned area is organized\nFollow company policies and rules regarding ESD, quality, and safety\nPhysical Demands:\nConstant use of fine finger dexterity, neck flexion and reaching\nFrequently required to use both hands to hold circuit boards, bins, tools, and components\nFrequently lift, push, or pull 11-25lbs and occasionally lift, push, or pull 26-50lbs\nOccasional bending at knees and waist\nClose vision, midrange vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and balance are requirements of this position\nConstantly Sitting/Standing/Alternating\nOccasionally climb stairs\nOccasionally walk\nAdditional Functions:\nTransport product from one assembly area to the next assembly area\nAbility to work flexible schedules and 50 hours per week Monday through Saturday\n\nQualifications\n\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent\nRead English sufficient to understand schematics and assembly instructions\nRead English sufficiently to understand basic computer use instructions, company policies, safety directives, and other work instructions\nAbility to communicate in English to understand and give verbal work instructions to coworkers who only speak English\nHandwrite work-related notes in English\nAdd, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers\nDecimals/fractions used with the use of a calculator\nUpdate ERP system, including open, save, and exit\n6 months of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred\n\nAdditional Information\n\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nITW is an equal opportunity employer.
