We are looking for candidates who want to shape and drive innovation at Bosch.\n\nJob Description\n\nWe are seeking an Electrical Engineer with specialized expertise in commissioning, project execution and operational readiness within a high-demand semiconductor manufacturing environment. This critical role ensures the seamless integration of new and upgraded electrical systems - from design validation through energization - while maintaining uninterrupted fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with medium-voltage electrical systems up to 12,000 V and a proven track record of executing complex projects safely and efficiently.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCommissioning & Startup Leadership:\nLead commissioning for facility upgrades, expansions and new tool installations.\nDevelop commissioning plans and validation protocols for performance, functionality and compliance with design and operational requirements.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure timely energization and successful system handoff.\n\nProject Execution & Documentation:\nAuthor, review and approve electrical project scopes of work (SOWs) and switching/LOTO schedules for outages, tie-ins and energizations.\nCreate and maintain SOPs, maintenance procedures and emergency response plans aligned with industry best practices.\nManage electrical change orders, submittals and RFIs during project execution.\n\nFacility Upgrades & Tool Installation:\nProvide electrical engineering support across the project lifecycle, including new fab construction, expansions and tool installations.\nEnsure designs comply with NEC, SEMI standards, corporate specifications and power quality requirements for sensitive equipment.\nValidate voltage, current, grounding and harmonic performance for new tool hook-ups.\n\nPower System Reliability & Safety:\nApply load-shedding and restoration strategies to minimize risk during planned outages and unplanned events.\nChampion electrical safety, particularly during medium-voltage (up to 12 kV) energization and maintenance.\nMaintain compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA and NFPA 70B standards.\nAbility to read single-line drawings.\nDevelop and implement robust LOTO procedures for complex multi-sourced and medium-voltage systems.\nMaintain accurate as-built documentation and participate in electrical incident.\n\nQualifications\n\nPreferred Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Will consider Associate's degree.\n4+ years of electrical engineering experience, construction support, and operational troubleshooting.\nProficient in power distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), VFDs and backup/emergency power systems.\nExperience with low and medium-voltage systems up to 12,000 V is required.\nGood knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and NETA.\nSkilled in Revit and CAD drafting platforms (e.g. AutoCAD).\nPreferred Qualifications\nBS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems or controls.\nControl systems troubleshooting and commissioning experience.\nExperience performing power systems studies, including protective device coordination, arc flash analysis, short circuit calculations and cable schedules.\nBackground supporting electrical systems in high-reliability environments, such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical or data center facilities.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nThis role will work on site in Roseville, CA\nThis position works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary.\nIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
