Your primary responsibilities include meticulously handling our inventory – from receiving and storing supplies to monitoring stock levels and minimizing waste. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will ensure that we have just what we need, when we need it, to delight our customers with speedy service.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nReceive, verify, and properly store incoming inventory from delivery trucks.\r\nConduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate on-hand records.\r\nEfficiently manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of items, while avoiding overstocking.\r\nOrder necessary supplies, considering forecasted demand and current stock levels.\r\nMonitor and manage food and paper waste, implementing strategies to reduce it.\r\nCollaborate with kitchen and front-of-house leadership to understand inventory needs.\r\nMaintain a clean and organized storage area to facilitate quick and accurate inventory retrieval.\r\nAdhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines related to handling and storing food products.\r\nUtilize inventory management software to track supplies, place orders, and generate reports.\r\nRegularly check for shortages and approved solutions.\r\nSubmit credit requests as needed for damaged items.\r\nOther duties as assigned.\r\nQualifications\r\nSome experience in inventory management, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or similar environment.\r\nMust be available to work at 5:30 AM, five days a week\r\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\r\nAbility to work independently and make decisions under pressure.\r\nGood mathematical skills for accurate order calculations and inventory tracking.\r\nProficient in using inventory management software and basic computer applications such as Excel.\r\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\r\nAbility to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs), when necessary.\r\nFlexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.\r\nBenefits\r\nCompetitive pay\r\nOpportunities for professional growth and development.\r\nA dynamic and supportive team environment.\r\nEmployee discounts and meal benefits.\r\nFlexible scheduling.\r\nLocation: Chick-fil-A Dallas North Tollway and West Frontier - 1920 N Dallas Pkwy, Prosper, TX 75078\r\nWorking at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job – it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
