Join us and be a part of a company that’s making waves and empowering its people to do extraordinary things every single day!\n\nAbout the Role\n\nThe Warehouse Associate will be responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking and shipping of product to meet company standards of accuracy, attention to details, sanitation, safety, security and productivity.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nPerform general warehouse duties including receiving, counting, and verifying incoming products against packing slips and the Warehouse Management System (WMS).\nInspect inbound shipments for damage, quantity discrepancies, correct part numbers, and expiration dates.\nReport all shortages, damages, and mis‑shipments using appropriate documentation and sign for deliveries when required.\nSafely unload inbound shipments and place products into proper storage locations, including pallet, static, cantilever, yard, and wire rack areas.\nAccurately pick orders in WMS, transport items to shipping or delivery areas, and bag, tag, or label as necessary.\nVerify that outbound orders match required quantities, labeling, and address information, and obtain signatures when applicable.\nLoad products into trailers, trucks, vans, or containers efficiently and safely.\nMaintain a clean and orderly work environment and ensure equipment is neat, clean, and properly maintained.\nOperate warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards.\nSupport inventory control through cycle counts, stock rotation, and aisle assessments.\nPerform additional tasks as needed, such as repacking, re‑boxing, shrink‑wrapping, pallet repair, trash removal, supply replenishment, and snow removal.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n\nGeneral warehouse experience and ability to perform core warehouse responsibilities.\nAbility to safely lift materials and perform hands‑on physical tasks.\nBasic computer skills and comfort using warehouse systems.\nAbility to read, count accurately, perform simple math, and write clearly.\nStrong attention to safety and ability to follow detailed instructions.\nAbility to multitask and work under tight deadlines.\nFlexibility to support a wide range of warehouse activities as needed.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nAt least one year of warehouse experience is preferred.\nExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.\nForklift certification preferred.\nNo special requirements or additional physical requirements listed beyond standard warehouse lifting and equipment use.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nWe offer a competitive benefits package that includes:\n\n401(k) plan\nHealth insurance\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nLife insurance\nPaid holidays\nVacation\nEmployee negotiated discounts\n\nWho We Are\n\nFounded in 1923, Turtle is a fourth-generation, family-owned, and three-generation women-owned business, and one of the nation’s largest independent electrical and industrial distributors.
