Develop and execute/supervise pipeline drain down procedures in support of line maintenance and new construction tie-ins.\nEnsure project oversight, cost control, accounting, adherence to schedule and documentation during construction on behalf of operations projects. Promptly anticipate and report variances from budget and schedule.\nGain an understanding of crude pipelines, leases and station operations and safe product movement.\nCoordinate with operations, project management, commercial, scheduling, control room, and associated contractors to schedule shutdowns/tie-ins.\nMaintain a presence in North Dakota and eastern Montana. This position can only be done effectively in the field.\nProvide support for AFE preparation for construction and maintenance projects.\nReport planned and ongoing projects and activities to manager.\nNotify project management group and manager about necessary corrections and develop timelines for corrections before approving and signing off on Pre-startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).\nBe proactive in job safety for all personnel on site. Perform quality Job Safety Analysis/Job Hazard Analysis and help train and guide other employees.\nMaintain company vehicle and equipment.\nPerform other job-related duties as requested or required.\nPosition Requirements\n\nEducation and/or experience:\n\nBachelor’s degree in construction management or five years of relevant experience preferred.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office.\nExcellent analytical skills.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong listening skills.\nAbility to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization.\n\nCompetencies, skills, and abilities:\n\nAbility to generate, maintain and modify spreadsheets.\nAbility to understand and implement operations and maintenance procedures.\nAbility to generate detailed clear drain downs and communicate written accurate instructions and apply it in the field setting.\n\nCertifications, licenses, registrations:\n\nValid state operating license with a driving record insurable under company insurance policy.\n\nPhysical demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
