The Residential Supervisor works within the Agency's team model, establishing open communication, support and accountability among co-workers. Our team works in a supportive residential environment for developmentally disabled adults living in a community-based group home.\nResponsibilities: Supervises all full or part‑time staff to ensure appropriate service delivery\nSupports clients' activities of daily living\nAdministers medications as needed\nAdvocates for individuals within various community settings\nProvides opportunities to optimize their independence\nDevelops professional and supportive relationships with clients and provides informal counseling and guidance with a person‑centered focus.\nInteracts with clients in order to assess needs, provide information, discuss problems, set limits, and encourage growth and development while monitoring safety\nUnderstands, follows/implements all client ISPs and documents progress\nProvides thorough orientation of all new staff\nRequirements: Minimum two years' experience with the population as well as supervisory experience\nMust have current MAP certification, CPR and First Aid\nMust have excellent oral and written communication and be proficient in use of computers\nBachelor's Degree in related field required\nReliable automobile and valid driver's license required\nFlexibility needed to work one weekend day, including on call\nBenefits: Competitive salary of $52,000 annually\nDental, Health and Life insurance\nPaid time off\nEarned vacation time\nPaid holidays\nAt Center for Human Development (CHD) Care Finds a Way: The Center for Human Development (CHD) provides a broad range of high quality, community-oriented human services dedicated to promoting, enhancing, and protecting the dignity and welfare of people in need.\nAt CHD we are celebrating differences, inclusion is not just a policy- it is a daily practice.
