We are recognized for developing unique, automated processes in automotive assembly as well as for being the nations leading manufacturer of insulation process equipment.\r\nThe Engineering Intern works with department personnel and is responsible for assisting in the following under the guidance of full-time Engineering staff: development and implementation of clear, complete, and accurate detailed drawings/sketch details from rough sketches or notes, reviewing design documents for accuracy, completeness, and constructability, creating bills of material (BOM), and meeting job design budgets and deadlines\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.\r\nModify product designs, according to guidelines provided.\r\nDevelop detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment, according to guidelines provided.\r\nCreate 3-D models from 2-D drawings.\r\nGenerate and scan prints.\r\nComplete other projects or tasks as assigned.\r\nAttend meetings & coordinate with Field & Shop personnel for design issues\r\nCoordinate with other internal departments\r\nProcess A BOMs (Advanced Bills of Materials and BOMs (Bills of Materials), etc.\r\nOther tasks/functions/projects as assigned\r\nRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required\r\nCurrently enrolled in college and working towards a degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)\r\nHands-on experience with mechanical devices, machines, tools, construction, etc. preferred\r\nAny machine shop experience or manufacturing experience is preferred\r\nExcellent communication and organizational skills.\r\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\r\nExperience with CAD software (AutoCAD & Inventor preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.\r\nCompetent with mathematics and investigation of engineering topics related to work tasks.\r\nStrong Attention to detail.\r\nAbility to work effectively, both independently and on a team.\r\nStrong problem-solving & critical thinking skills.\r\nPersonal commitment to safety.\r\nPreferred experience in CAD (2D and/or 3D) AutoCad/Inventor a plus.\r\nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).\r\nBasic knowledge in Adobe Acrobat.\r\nRequires some travel for problem-solving and review of job sites\r\nLearn more about U.S. Tsubaki at: www.ustsubaki.com/careers\r\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
