The ideal candidate has experience developing software for manufacturing environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain manufacturing software applications using modern programming languages and development tools.\nDevelop desktop, web, and service applications that support production, quality assurance, inventory management, and equipment monitoring.\nIntegrate manufacturing equipment, PLCs, barcode scanners, torque controllers, audio test systems, vision systems, printers, and other industrial devices with business applications.\nDevelop automated production test applications for validating product functionality, including audio performance, electrical testing, and functional verification.\nDevelop and maintain software for audio testing, including communication with audio analyzers, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and digital signal processing (DSP) equipment.\nDesign and optimize SQL databases, stored procedures, queries, and reports.\nTroubleshoot software, network, communication, and production test issues affecting manufacturing operations.\nDevelop software that collects, stores, and analyzes production, quality, and test data.\nSupport manufacturing traceability, product genealogy, and process control systems.\nParticipate in software testing, validation, deployment, and documentation.\nCollaborate with production personnel to identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvements.\nMaintain software source control, version management, and technical documentation.\nProvide technical support for manufacturing applications and assist with issue resolution during production.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives that increase equipment reliability, productivity, and product quality.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned by management.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nBachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nCertificates, licenses and registrations required:\nComputer skills required: Development Software; Project Management Software; Microsoft Office Suite.\nOther skills required:\nExperience developing software using C#, .NET, or similar object-oriented programming languages.\nExperience working with Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and SQL query development.\nExperience integrating PLCs, HMI systems, robotic systems, barcode scanners, printers, torque controllers, and other industrial controllers.\nExperience communicating with industrial equipment using Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, serial communications, or TCP/IP socket communications.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and warehouse management systems (WMS).\nExperience using Git, TortoiseSVN, Azure DevOps, or other version control and project management tools.\nExperience with audio testing and measurement equipment, including audio analyzers, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, signal generators, and data acquisition hardware.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing quality systems, traceability, statistical process control (SPC), and production reporting.\n\nCOMPETENCIES:\n\nDiversity - Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy;
