Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate snow plowing equipment effectively. The Snow Plow Operator will also be responsible for various landscaping and groundskeeping tasks during the off-season. Responsibilities Operate snow plowing equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and walkways of snow and ice. Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance. Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly to maintain safety. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, irrigation, and groundskeeping during non-winter months. Utilize hand tools for various landscaping projects such as digging, building, and maintaining outdoor spaces. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or repairs needed. Requirements Proven experience in snow plowing or similar roles is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, irrigation systems, and general groundskeeping. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and during irregular hours as needed. A valid driver's license is required; CDL may be preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
