Your health and safety are our number one priority, and we will do our best to accommodate within reason.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTION:\nThe Material Servicer maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages. Material Servicers locate materials and supplies by verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders and providing support to the department team leader and supervisor.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nUphold company policies and procedures including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), production lines, sanitation, cleanliness, and equipment verification.\nPromote healthy communication between workers and management\nMaintain workflow by applying steps of the process; monitored supplies; communicate corrections to malfunctions within inventory control points; initiated and encouraged a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.\nEnsure operation of equipment, which includes electric pallet jacks, and electric pallet stacker, and report issues\nMaintains a safe and clean work environment for all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.\nVerify that labels, barcodes, and part numbers of raw materials/ finished goods, are accurate and of quality, ensuring that they correspond with the bill of materials.\nUtilize an RF scanner to stage material to various workstations.\nPalletize cases according to production packaging layouts.\nVisually inspects, counts, and wraps materials before returning items to the warehouse.\nAssist on the production line as needed\nEnsure accurate counts of materials and finished goods going to the warehouse.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nESSENTIAL/SKILLS NEEDED:\nElectric pallet jack, and Electric pallet stacker experience\nForklift Experience\nStrong communication skills with the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English\nAbility to meet deadlines\nAttention to detail\nAbility to meet the physical demands of the job\nOrganizational skills\nWorking effectively and accurately in high volume, fast-paced environment\nTeam Oriented\nEnglish comprehension including speaking, reading, and writing is required for our business's necessity to ensure a safe and effective work environment.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nFood Safety production is highly preferred\nMust have manual pallet jack experience\nElectric Pallet Jack experience highly preferred (2 to 3 months of experience)\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMay require the employee to frequently lift and/or carry up to fifty (50) pounds\nRequired to stand and walk for an entire shift\nRequires frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching bending, twisting, stooping, and squatting\nRequires frequent repetitive motion\nMust be able to work in various indoor temperatures including elevated heat and humidity\nExposure to elevated noise levels which occurs below OSHA thresholds\nInfrequent exposure to machine sanitation solutions and detergents\nExposure to various spices and food manufacturing smells throughout a work shift.\nRequired to wear Personal Protective Equipment [PPE]\nRequired to follow Good Manufacturing Practices [GMPs]\nExposure to food allergens such as, but not limited to, milk eggs, tree nuts, wheat, and soybeans will occur.\nConduct, Quality, Integrity, and Culture\nConduct: We will conduct every aspect of our business with honesty, integrity, and openness, respecting human rights and the interests of our employees, customers, and third parties.\nQuality: Shank’s is committed to food safety and product quality.
