This role offers the perfect blend of complex clinical challenges and a supportive, "home-like" team culture.With the stunning North Idaho wilderness just minutes away and a leadership team that prioritizes workload balance, this is an ideal contract for a traveler looking to make a real impact.The Role: Clinical Excellence at PaceYou will be responsible for managing a high-volume workload of 12–15 patients per day. This is a "hit the ground running" position for an RD who excels in critical thinking and complex medical nutrition therapy.Key Responsibilities:High-Acuity Care: Diagnose and treat malnutrition and manage complex nutrition support, including TPN (3-in-1 compounding) and enteral feeds.Efficiency in Documentation: Utilize EPIC with smart phrases and auto-populating templates to maintain a 20–30 minute window per patient assessment.Collaborative Practice: Participate in daily morning huddles to redistribute workloads and ensure the team functions like a well-oiled machine.Comprehensive Assessment: Collect and analyze lab values, anthropometrics, and medical history to develop evidence-based care plans.Outpatient Support: Depending on the clinic, provide individual consultations for chronic conditions (DM, CHF, obesity) or lead group education classes.Schedule & FlexibilityWe value work-life balance and provide advanced scheduling so you can explore the Pacific Northwest.Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.Rotation: Rotating every 3rd weekend.Planning: Schedules are posted 4–6 weeks in advance.Balance: Flexible weekdays off during weekend rotations (guaranteed no more than 8 consecutive workdays).Requirements & QualificationsCredentials: Registered Dietitian (RD) certification through the CDR.Licensure: Washington State Certified Dietitian license (must be active or obtainable before start).Experience: Recent Acute Care experience is required. You must be proficient in TPN, tube feeding, and high-acuity malnutrition assessments.Tech Savvy: Proficiency in EPIC EMR is highly preferred.Certifications: CNSC is a plus, but not required.Why Join This Team?"We aren't just a department; we're a community.
