The role focuses on accurate interpretation of blueprints and diagrams, precise electrical wiring and component assembly, and adherence to quality, safety and production procedures. The successful candidate will support production orders, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities in a manufacturing or R&D environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nInterpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and production orders to assemble control panels and wire harnesses accurately.\nBuild and install electrical components and hardware into control boxes and enclosures following mechanical and electrical drawings.\nPerform electrical wiring, soldering and crimping of terminations; route and secure wire/cable assemblies to industry and company standards.\nConduct continuity, insulation and functional testing of assemblies using diagnostic and test equipment; document test results and record any nonconformances.\nFollow assembly, installation and procedure manuals to ensure repeatable, high-quality builds; maintain traceability of parts and work performed.\nCollaborate with engineering, R&D and quality teams to support prototype builds, design changes and product validations.\nTroubleshoot and diagnose assembly and wiring issues; implement corrective actions and report recurring errors or design concerns.\nAdhere to safety requirements, lockout/tagout and company facility policies while maintaining a clean, organized work area consistent with 5S principles.\nMaintain tools and light maintenance of production fixtures and jigs; escalate or perform repairs per maintenance procedures when required.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve assembly processes, reduce defects and optimize throughput.\n\nQualifications\n\nHS Diploma or GED with trade school education.\n1+ years panel-building experience.\nProven experience in electrical wiring and assembly of control panels, junction boxes or similar electrical enclosures.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and production orders with strong attention to detail.\nHands-on skill with soldering and crimping techniques; experience with wire and cable assemblies.\nFamiliarity with electrical test and diagnostic equipment (multimeter, continuity testers, insulation testers) and basic testing procedures.\nGood manual dexterity and experience installing components and routing harnesses inside enclosures.\nWorking knowledge of electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout and facility safety requirements.\nExperience following procedure manuals, documenting work and maintaining traceability for quality purposes.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in production and R&D environments; comfortable supporting prototypes and design iteration.\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive compensation - based on experience - flexible to higher range for more experienced candidates.\nMedical | Dental | Vision\nFSA Account\n401K Retirement Savings\nLife & Disability Insurance\nPTO and Paid Holidays\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
