You'll coordinate with CONUS-based engineering staff, generate forensics reports, and respond to analytical requirements. This hands-on experience at home will sharpen your skills and prepare you for the challenges that await you in the field!\r\nQualifications\r\nRequired\r\nJourneyman Level - BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience OR associate degree and 5 years of experience OR High School diploma and 6 years of experience\r\nSenior Level - Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience in complex design, development, integration, and analysis of hardware projects.\r\nPhysical ability and commitment to global deployment for 6-month rotations.\r\nExpertise in electronic schematic design and interpretation.\r\nProficiency in identifying electronic components and characterizing circuits.\r\nMastery of laboratory benchtop equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.).\r\nSolid understanding of RF communications and standard RF measurements.\r\nExperience using benchtop RF equipment including Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and other equipment.\r\nPerform standard RF measurements (e.g. occupied bandwidth, average power, pulse width) using the previously listed test equipment.\r\nExperience in synthesizing and generating various types of RF waveforms using an arbitrary waveform generator.\r\nPrevious experience working in OCONUS DoD forensic exploitation labs, to include FXL-C and ACME Labs desired.\r\nExperience in reverse engineering electronic devices from start to finish desired.\r\nExperience in reverse engineering electronic components and circuit boards desired.\r\nExperience supporting exploitation and modeling and simulation tool development desired.\r\nWorking knowledge of software-defined radios (SDR), such as the Ettus B210 and x310. Able to interface with such units in order to transmit or receive RF signals desired.\r\nBasic MATLAB (and other basic programming/scripting) skills, should be able to apply digital signal processing techniques to communication signals.
