The Pool Server ensures timely and accurate food & drink order delivery while maintaining the pool area with a friendly, professional, and attentive demeanor. This role is key to creating a relaxing and enjoyable poolside experience for all guests. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.The pay for this position is $18.00 plus tips.Job Posting DeadlineApplications for this position will be accepted until May 24, 2026.Essential Job Functions/Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure friendly greeting to all guests and impeccable maintenance of the pool areaTake order and serve food and beverage request promptly while ensuring that established service procedures and standards are followedCheck in with guest often during service for guest satisfactionResponsible for guest check and proper paymentSet-up pool area, including chairs and tables prior to serviceAssist in clearing and set-up of tables and outdoor space before, during, and at the conclusion of serviceEnsure tableware is clean and delivered in a timely mannerComplete side duties and maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware, serving equipment, and service areasMake manager aware of all guest comments and complaintsMaintain positive communication with service personnelCarry tools necessary to perform job including crumbers, corkscrew, etcOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred1 year customer service experience required1 year serving experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProficient knowledge in point-of-sale systemsKnowledge of food and beverage, including wine, products offeredKnowledge of company policies and proceduresKnowledge of pool standards and adheres to them in every aspect of operationFamiliar with state liquor laws to ensure not serving intoxicated guests or minorsUnderstanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectivelyAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyAbility to do basic problem-solvingProficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and customersStrong attention to detailAbility to work under stressful circumstancesAbility to quickly adapt to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasksAbility to develop strong working relationship with those contacted in the course of workAbility to engage with customers in a positive and helpful mannerAbility to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing to team members and customersAdditional InformationWork Environment & Physical DemandsAbility to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of timeRegularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfacesMust be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)Job BenefitsThis position is classified as a seasonal full-time position eligible for the following benefits:Enrollment dates differ across the various programs.Paid Time Off ProgramsPaid Leave ProgramsOther company perksThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
