Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for a Dental Hygienist based in Port Allegany, PA. The Dental Hygienist will perform dental cleanings, conduct dental prophylaxis, and educate patients on oral hygiene practices. Other responsibilities include providing care to prevent periodontal disease, assisting with dental procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records. Qualifications Proficiency in Dentistry, including hands-on dental procedures and patient careExpertise in Dental Hygiene and Dental Care techniquesExperience with Dental Prophylaxis procedures and practicesKnowledge of prevention, treatment, and management of Periodontal DiseaseStrong interpersonal and communication skills to educate and interact with patients effectivelyCompletion of an accredited Dental Hygiene programActive state certification and licensure to practice dental hygiene in PennsylvaniaPrevious clinical experience is preferred but not required for entry-level professionals
