Compensation Range$140,000.00 - $200,000.00 Annual SalaryJob Description SummaryThe Concrete General Superintendent provides overall field leadership across multiple construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met. This role oversees and develops project superintendents and field teams, drives operational consistency, and serves as a key liaison with owners and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Job DescriptionPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Oversee and support multiple concrete project superintendents to ensure successful project executionEnforce company safety policies and procedures across all assigned projectsLead and participate in the Safety Training Program and ensure compliance across project teamsProvide oversight and guidance on CPM schedules for multiple projects; ensure schedule adherenceBuild and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Architects, and key stakeholdersRecruit, develop, mentor, and manage field staff, including superintendents, foremen, and subcontractor personnelEstablish and enforce quality control standards across all projectsOversee procurement planning for materials and tools to avoid delays and “crisis” purchasingEnsure accurate and timely reporting (e.g., time sheets, daily reports, cost tracking, invoice approvals)Monitor project documentation, including punch lists, and ensure timely completion of all close-out itemsReview drawings, specifications, and submittals; ensure consistency and constructability across projectsLead or support pre-construction meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and project reviewsOversee project start-up, commissioning, and turnover processes to OwnersEnsure complete and timely project closeout and Owner acceptance across all projectsProvide operational leadership across a large geographic area, including travel as requiredStep in to support field operations as needed under critical or exigent circumstancesDrive continuous improvement in field operations, scheduling, safety, and qualityPerform other duties as assigned by managementMinimum Skills Or Experience RequirementsDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experienceExtensive concrete field construction experience, including a minimum of 10–15 years with at least 8 years at the Superintendent levelProven experience managing multiple projects and supervising superintendentsCurrent Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certification, or ability to obtain within six months of hireStrong working knowledge of all construction trades; ability to read and interpret plans and specificationsPrior experience as a foreman, journeyman, or project engineer preferredThorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirementsAdvanced knowledge of scheduling, planning, cost control, and project executionDemonstrated leadership, team development, and conflict resolution skillsStrong problem-solving ability and decision-making skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong sense of urgency and accountability
