Experience in a clinical radiation oncology department that includes machine troubleshooting, providing clinical presence for linac-based radiation therapy patients, weekly and final chart checks, plan checks for external beam plans, working knowledge of linac QA, experience working with service engineers for machine issues, excellent communication, and experience working in a clinical practice with a mix of patients including in-patient palliative patients. Min 2 Years exp. Masters Degree in an applied science, medical physics training in radiation oncology program.\nPreferred: Experience with the Elekta Versa machineExp with Truebeam linear accelerators, RayStation treatment planning system, Aria Oncology Information System, MIM.\nCertifications: PhD, Cert from ABR requiredACRT accreditation exp.\nSubmittals: Current CV, with gaps greater than 6 months explained, the provider questionnaire, and license verification. Name clears will be sent to the appropriate contact who expects to clear within 72 hours. Physician Assistants: PAs must have a master's degree in PA studies or equivalent. Nurse Practitioner: NP board certifications are outlined in the job description. DEA: CA DEA with Schedule 2/2n required. Certifications: BLS required for all positions, additional certifications will be listed in the job description. ALL certifications must be AHA. Malpractice and disciplinary background issues: If your provider has more than 500K in malpractice or more than 2 cases please include first and third party documentation on the cases. Credentialing/Privileging: Privileging generally takes 60-90 days. It's imperative that the provider is available to send their DOB, SSN, License, contact information, and a signed form sent during the offer process within 72 hours of signing. This allows for the facility to kick off privileging and any delays will impact start time. No emergency privileges. Parking: The facility does not offer parking passes. Parking costs will need to be covered by the provider.
