Longhorn Mobile Detailing is a family-owned, high-end detailing company serving the Greater Austin area. We provide premium detailing services for busy professionals, luxury communities, and fleet clients. As we expand, we are building a network of highly skilled, independent detailers who deliver the same level of excellence our brand is known for.
As a 1099 contractor, you choose your workload, earn a percentage of each completed job, and keep all tips—while Longhorn handles marketing, scheduling, and customer service.
What You’ll Do
Travel to client homes and businesses using your own reliable vehicle
Perform professional detailing services (interior + exterior) to Longhorn standards
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
Take before/after photos and complete job checklists
Maintain your own equipment (or use Longhorn-provided equipment depending on payout tier)
Arrive on time and represent Longhorn with integrity and professionalism
Follow all safety, vehicle, and customer service expectations
Contractor Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Must provide your own reliable vehicle suitable for mobile detailing
Must provide proof of active auto insurance (commercial insurance preferred)
Must pass a criminal background check
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude
Prior detailing experience required for 1099 roles
Compensation Structure
You are paid a percentage of every completed job.
Percentages vary by job type (monthly clients, full details, premium details, ceramics, fleet).
Final percentages will be discussed during interview process.
