Maintain rolling stock, wheelchairs and stretchers.\n\nEssential Functions\n1. Transports patients, specimens and pharmaceutical goods throughout Medical center. * Assigned transports are completed safely, efficiently and within established time frames.\n2. Routinely collects and maintains wheelchairs and stretchers (including cleaning). * Rolling stock is clean and operational.\n3. Maintains clerical records as needed. * Log sheets are completed accurately and timely.\n4. Maintains and operates pneumatic tube system when necessary. * Completes transfers of pneumatic tube timely and efficiently. 100% compliance to departmental standards.\n5. Perform related duties as required. * Assistance is provided in emergency situations on a timely and reliable basis.\n\nQualifications\nHigh School Required\n1-3 years 1 year of experience Required\nAbility to read, write and comprehend English.\nOHS Fit Test\nOHS Annual Assessment\n\nMontefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
