{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"4c4b3e637f7800aaf6b55ebb","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4c4b3e637f7800aaf6b55ebb","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4c4b3e637f7800aaf6b55ebb","title":"Verification Validation Engineer","description":"Job descriptionPosition: Verification EngineerLocation: RemoteMust Have FMS V&V - Flight Management System Verification and Validation), Must have worked on FMS (Display, Navigation, Application System)Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute verification plans for avionics systems software in compliance with DO-178C guidelines.Conduct reviews of software requirements, design, and architecture to ensure traceability and compliance.Design and implement test cases and procedures, including unit testing, Software System Integration Testing (SSIT), and Hardware Software Integration Testing (HSIT).Analyze test results, document findings, and provide recommendations for software improvements.Collaborate with software development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.Prepare and maintain verification and validation documentation, including test plans, test reports, and compliance artifacts.Participate in peer reviews and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.Qualifications and Experience Required:Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Electronics, Controls, or Instrumentation.Experience in Test Case Design and Analysis.Experience in Requirement Based Testing, including Black Box and White Box Testing.Experience in Hardware Software Integration Testing and Software Integration Testing.Proficient in using tools such as RTRT, Synergy, and DOORs.Experience in verification of protocols—ARINC, AFDX, CAN, RS-232, RS-422.Experience in Structural Coverage Analysis (SCA), Data Coupling, and Control Coupling.Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, Python, and TCL-Tk.Familiarity with avionics systems and displays;
