Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequired Education: Bachelor degree based on discipline performed\nPreferred Certification: Engineering Intern\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAbility to multi-task and work on different projects simultaneously (antenna mods, collocation, raw land, drawings for multi-carrier standards)\nStrong technical, written, and oral communications skills\nExperience communicating directly with and providing services to clients\nAbility to understand and apply budgeting principles throughout project lifecycle\nAbility to final check on multiple drawing types/carriers\nExperience in working with multiple discipline projects within the telecommunication, residential, commercial or light/heavy industrial fields is preferred\n• PE exam schedule to be completed within 2-4 years based on state requirements is preferred • Physical ability to climb telecommunication towers and ability to work at heights in excess of 150’\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nEssential Functions\nResponsible for planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria\nDesign civil solutions to unique obstacles on a site including storm water control, access road grading and retaining wall design\nDevise new approaches to problems and prepare or modify drawings, monitor work compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and TEP standards\nPrepare and develop detailed AutoCAD drawings from GIS and/or site survey\nPrepare detailed construction drawings on collocation and raw land sites\nPrepare reports related to tower mappings and inspections\nWork with multiple jurisdictions to comply with permitting and zoning requirements\nPotential overflow into other areas of Civil engineering\nMay assist with client interaction to include correspondence to clients, problem resolution, and final reports to meet required deadlines\nPerform final check on multiple drawing types/carriers\nPerform inspections, tower mappings and post construction inspections on telecommunications towers is preferred\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to sit, stand, lift files and equipment up to 50 lbs,\nWork Environment\nThis job operates in a professional office and field environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
