Key Responsibilities Tax Preparation & Compliance Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local business tax returns Respond to client tax inquiries and handle routine matters independently Client Engagement Participate in client meetings and information gathering Build and maintain strong client relationships Identify opportunities to expand services across additional service lines Planning & Consulting Support tax planning, research, and consulting projects Assist with special and ad hoc tax engagements Project & Time Management Track time and billing and recommend billing amounts to leadership Compliance & Professional Standards Follow firm policies, confidentiality standards, and ethical guidelines Ensure compliance with AICPA and applicable state regulatory requirements Ideal Candidate Profile Education & Credentials Bachelor’s degree required CPA preferred (or 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam) Experience 2+ years of progressive tax experience, preferably in public accounting Skills & Traits Strong technical tax knowledge Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Excellent client communication and relationship management skills Growth-oriented mindset with long-term career ambitions
