We are seeking a Machine Operator II to set up and operate machines while ensuring products meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.\n\nIn this role, you will work with precision manufacturing equipment, quality measurement systems, and automated processes to help deliver high-quality products in a safe, efficient, and collaborative environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSelect and prioritize production jobs using the Sites Control System or as directed by leadership.\nSet up equipment by following work instructions, blueprints, and engineering specifications.\nDevelop and adjust basic CNC programs to support production requirements.\nAdjust machine parameters and perform required robot calibrations.\nVerify process capability using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other control methods.\nUtilize process-specific measurement systems to ensure products meet specifications.\nPerform visual inspections to verify all products meet established quality standards.\nMonitor operations to ensure processes achieve established efficiency and utilization targets.\nIdentify and support continuous improvement opportunities in partnership with peers, supervisors, and engineers.\nPerform routine equipment and tooling maintenance, including evaluating tooling conditions and requirements.\nSupport team development by assisting with training and skill-building activities for less experienced operators.\nUnderstand and properly utilize the robotic transport system as required.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including completion of daily housekeeping responsibilities.\nFoster a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, collaboration, and respect across all departments.\nFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.\nMaintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental stewardship.\n\nQualifications:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nCurrent authorization to work in the United States.\n1–3 years of experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial environment.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.\nExperience with CNC-controlled equipment, automation, or robotic systems.\nFamiliarity with precision measuring devices and quality inspection processes.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.\nCommitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nShift: Work Hours: 3rd (11:00PM to 7:15AM)\nPay Classification: W2 ($17.00 to $29.24)\nThis position requires current authorization to work in the United States. Sandvik cannot provide employment-based visa sponsorship for this role, now or in the future.\nThis position is onsite in Westminster, South Carolina.
