Your JobAs the HSE & Security Lead, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining comprehensive Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security programs that protect employees, assets, and operations. This role serves as a site leader for risk management, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement in safety and security performance.Our TeamYou will partner closely with site leadership, operations, engineering, facilities, and external stakeholders. The team is focused on fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and proactively managing environmental and security risks across the Salisbury location.What You Will DoDevelop, implement, and maintain HSE and security policies, procedures, and programs aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational standardsConduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify workplace safety risks and security vulnerabilitiesLead incident investigations, document findings, and implement corrective and preventive actionsEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations through audits and inspectionsDesign and deliver safety training programs and security awareness initiatives for all employee levelsManage emergency response planning, drills, and business continuity protocolsMonitor safety metrics, security incidents, and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvementPartner with department leaders to integrate HSE and security best practices into daily operationsMaintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to incidents, audits, and compliance activitiesStay current on regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging security threatsOversee site security systems, access controls, and surveillance protocolsServe as the primary site contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and external safety or security consultantsSupport departmental goals through meetings, training development, and special projects as assignedWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)5+ years of experience in health, safety, environmental, and/or security leadership rolesStrong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and related compliance frameworksDemonstrated experience with risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigationExperience developing and implementing safety programs and security protocolsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret regulatory requirementsProven leadership experience influencing teams and driving organizational changeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and make sound decisions in high‑pressure situationsWhat Will Put You AheadOSHA 30‑Hour certification or equivalent HSE credentialFirst Aid and CPR certificationExperience leading safety audits and regulatory compliance inspectionsBackground in security management or security clearance experienceExperience with emergency response planning and business continuity managementFamiliarity with HSE management systems, incident tracking software, and data analysis toolsBudget management and cost‑control experienceIndustry experience in manufacturing or similarly regulated environmentsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
