This role is ideal for a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives on modernization at scale and wants to directly contribute to mission outcomes while developing and mentoring elite engineering teams.\n\nThe Technical DevSecOps Manager is responsible for leading multiple agile development teams in designing, implementing, and operating DevSecOps practices across a portfolio of applications. These applications are hosted on virtual machines (VMs), containers, and serverless platforms. This role owns the strategy and execution of multiple continuous Integration/continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensures security is integrated throughout the delivery lifecycle, and drives continuous improvement in speed, quality, and reliability.\n\nHow You’ll Make an Impact\n\nLead and coordinate multiple agile development teams delivering applications across VMs, containers, and serverless environments.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for DevSecOps delivery, aligning teams, stakeholders, and leadership on priorities and progress.\n\nDefine and own the DevSecOps roadmap, standards, and best practices for the organization.\n\nArchitect and oversee implementation of multiple CI/CD pipelines supporting diverse applications and technologies.\n\nStandardize pipeline templates, reusable components, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) modules to enable consistency and reuse.\n\nEnsure pipelines support blue/green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies where appropriate.\n\nOptimize build and deployment performance, reliability, and observability.\n\nOversee the design and management of build, test, staging, and production environments across cloud and/or on‑prem infrastructure.\n\nEnsure scalable, resilient, and secure configurations for virtual machines, container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes/EKS/AKS/GKE), and serverless services.\n\nEmbed Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) policies into pipelines and platform configurations.\n\nIntegrate security controls into every stage of the pipeline (DevSecOps), including SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, and secrets management.\n\nCollaborate with security, architecture, and operations teams to ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.\n\nChampion “shift-left” practices, embedding security, quality, and reliability early in the development process.\n\nMentor and coach engineers and scrum teams on DevSecOps, agile delivery, and automation best practices.\n\nStay current with industry trends, tools, and practices in DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, and serverless, and recommend improvements.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.\n\nTS/SCI with Polygraph\n\n10+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.\n\n3+ years of experience leading multiple agile teams or acting as a release train engineer, delivery manager, or similar leadership role.\n\nDemonstrated experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines for complex applications.\n\nHands‑on experience with:\n\nCI/CD tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, ArgoCD).\n\nSource control and branching strategies (Git, trunk‑based, GitFlow, etc.).\n\nCloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services for VMs, containers, and serverless.\n\nContainerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, EKS, GKE).\n\nServerless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).\n\nInfrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).\n\nStrong knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including automated security testing and compliance integration.\n\nSolid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar scaled frameworks).\n\nExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nDesired Skills and Experience\n\nMaster’s degree in a related field.\n\nCertifications such as:\n\nAWS/Azure/GCP Architect or DevOps Engineer\n\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar\n\nDevOps or Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe RTE, SAFe DevOps, CSM, PSM)\n\nSecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP)\n\nExperience implementing policy-as-code and security-as-code (e.g., OPA, Sentinel, Conftest).\n\nExperience with observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, Splunk, New Relic).\n\nTotal Rewards\nOur benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts, dental plan options, a vision plan, and a 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post‑tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match.
