Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Telemetry (Med-Tele) Location: Concord, MA Blended Rate: $2,700/wk Shift: 36hrs/wk (3x12s) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg/Telemetry team in Concord, MA. This position is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical skills who is looking to take on a travel assignment and gain valuable experience in a dynamic medical-surgical and telemetry setting. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, providing care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to patients on the medical-surgical floor and those requiring telemetry monitoring. Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding quickly to any changes. Administer medications, perform assessments, and develop care plans for patients with a variety of conditions, including post-surgical care, chronic illness management, and acute health issues. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to implement care plans and treatment protocols. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and post-discharge care. Accurately document patient care, assessments, and any changes in condition in the electronic health record system. Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers as needed. Follow hospital policies and procedures, maintaining patient safety and quality care at all times. Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact state. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a MedSurg/Telemetry setting. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
