This internship will provide real world insight into the functions and processes of Human Resources management including recruitment, administration and compliance.\n\nThis is a paid, part-time internship requiring a commitment of approximately 15-20 hours per week.\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nDuties will include (but are not limited to):\n\nAssist with onboarding of new hires, including processing new hire paperwork and filing\n\nAssist with recruiting coordination, including phone screening and proctoring applicant testing sessions\n\nAssist with scheduling and confirming candidate interviews\n\nInterface with HRIS platform Workday, including data entry and uploading personnel documents\n\nCreate new hire orientation and benefit packets\n\nMaintain file room and update documents as necessary\n\nRepresent Microchip at career fairs and local events\n\nOther projects and duties as assigned\n\nQualifications:\n\nMust be actively enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\n\nConsistent and reliable attendance\n\nProfessional and dependable\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nKeen attention to detail and organization\n\nAbility to maintain high level of confidentiality\n\nComfort interacting with employees and stakeholders of all levels\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nPreferred degree programs include Business, Human Resources Management, Management, Communication, or related\n\nCritical Physical Requirements:\nStanding 10%, Sitting 90%, Inside 100%\n\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%\n\nPhysical Attributes:\nBending at Waist, Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Crouching, Feeling, Foot Controls, Handling, Hearing, Kneeling, Lifting, Other, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around Others\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nLifting\n\nMicrochip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
