This role supports daily production operations by maintaining consistent material flow, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting with general site duties as needed.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOperate a front-end loader to move and load materials into trucks, hoppers, or bins.\nMaintain proper stockpile management and organize materials on site.\nInspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment daily (fueling, greasing, cleaning, etc.).\nFollow all safety guidelines and site procedures, including PPE requirements.\nCommunicate effectively with truck drivers, crew members, and supervisors.\nMonitor material quality and report contamination or mix issues.\nAssist in keeping the jobsite or plant area clean and organized.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support production and crew efficiency.\n\nPosition Requirements Qualifications and Requirements:\nExperience: Minimum 1–2 years operating heavy equipment (front-end loader preferred).\nLicense/Certification: Valid driver’s license required; CDL and equipment operator certification preferred.\nSkills:\nStrong understanding of equipment operation and material handling.\nAbility to read and follow instructions, work orders, and safety protocols.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to sit for long periods and operate controls with precision.\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.\nTolerance for dusty, noisy, and fast-paced environments.\nWork Environment:\nOutdoor job sites, asphalt plants, or quarries.\nExposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and heavy equipment traffic.\nMay require overtime, weekends, or night shifts depending on project schedules.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer Equal Employment Opportunity Statement\nPalmetto Corp. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
