{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"4bead1dd8f953d097d830fa0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4bead1dd8f953d097d830fa0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4bead1dd8f953d097d830fa0","title":"Geospatial Analyst (Python Scripter)","description":"Syntelligent Analytic Solutions, LLC provides uniquely qualified personnel with the expertise and tools needed to fulfill our customers’ management and technical requirements in the intelligence, defense, homeland security and commercial market space.\n\nOur customers’ and Syntelligent’s success are built upon the core values of People First, Integrity & Accountability, Mission Driven, Community Focus and Team Oriented.\n\nResponsibilities:\nSyntelligent is seeking a Geospatial Analyst (Python Scripter) at the Journeyman level for an awarded contract in support of a government customer in St. Louis, MO.\n\nA Journeyman Geospatial Analyst shall be expected to work with minimal oversight and should be fully capable of meeting most services without direction; are expected to assist apprentice level personnel in learning their trade; and are expected to collaborate with Government and contractor personnel within the IC organization to provide accurate technical information contributing to synergized analysis that is better than the sum of the individual parts.\n\nDuties will include:\nIdentify, analyze, order, and assemble geospatial and imagery source materials for a government customer.\nTrack and record selected sources\nCreate custom geospatial graphics\nAssemble packages adhering to relevant policies and procedures\nAnalyze numerous imagery sources to include NTM, DPPDB\nUtilize multiple GIS systems and tools\nUtilize a multi-INT approach to research various sources\nMaintain logs of all work accomplishments\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBS degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience, or 4 and up to 10 years of relevant geospatial analysis experience.\nMUST have demonstrated experience in developing, editing, and documenting Python and ArcPy Scripting.\nDemonstrated experience writing and applying SQL queries\nDemonstrated experience using ArcGIS and extensions\nKnowledge and skills necessary to edit, merge, and or conflate geospatial data.\nMinimum 2-4 years geospatial analysis experience creating geospatial products for the Intelligence Community and customer.\nIn-depth knowledge of ArcGIS (e.g. ArcMap, ArcView, ArcExplorer) and other geospatial software programs such as ERDAS IMAGINE, Google Earth, Microsoft Virtual Earth and common office software to include PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, word processing.\nKnowledge of soft copy exploitation functionalities.\nDemonstrated good oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to work in a very dynamic and demanding work environment.\nWork cooperatively as a team member and provide guidance to government analysts to build effective customer relationships.\nActive TS/SCI Security clearance REQUIRED\n(REQUIRED) Current Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (or higher DIE Certification) or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire (https://dodcertpmo.defense.gov/IFPC/).\nPhysical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.\nMental Requirements: Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.\nClearance: TS/SCI\n\nOnline applications only, please.\nWhen we review candidates' information, we are looking for the best matches for the position based on the qualifications listed in the job posting.
