Assistant Credit Manager

Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY/nThis position will assist the corporate credit manager as directed to help ensure company goals are met, policies are followed, receivables are collected timely and bad debt write-offs are maintained at an acceptable level./nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/n/n- Make employment decisions and/or recommendations on hiring, improvement plans, transfers, promotions, corrective actions, pay adjustments, etc./n/n/n- Listen to, respond to and address employee concerns./n/n/n- Coordinate and manage the work of employees by directing members of the team to meet the area's goals. Audit regularly to ensure standard operating procedures are being adhered to./n/n/n- Facilitate employee growth and development through weekly team meetings, regular individual employee meetings, coaching, training, and company-offered learning opportunities./n- Manage employee performance and assist employees in making improvements to their performance through coaching, mentoring and administering performance reviews. Recommend, plan and/or implement employee training and skill development activities./n- Audit, maintain and ensure employee time-keeping and absentee records are accurate./n- Manage and improve departmental performance measures through use and interpretation of continuous improvement tools.
