Lead application development and production support for multiple large-scale enterprise systems2. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of production issues and implement permanent fixes to improve system stability3. Troubleshoot Mid-tier MS SQL Server online and batch processing issues, ensuring SLA adherence4. Evaluate and optimize daily and monthly batch processes to improve performance and reduce critical path execution time5. Design, develop, and implement database solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability6. Perform impact analysis across multiple platforms and applications, ensuring downstream dependencies are understood7. Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and control mechanisms are in place for all critical data processes8. Deliver complete and audit-compliant documentation for estimates, design, development, and testing artifacts9. Automate monitoring, alerting, and operational processes to improve system reliability10. Participate in on-call production support during off-office hours (night and weekend) and handle incidents based on defined SLAs11. Follow and enforce change management, release, and SOX/audit compliance processesWHAT WILL THIS PERSON BE WORKING ON1. Codes, designs, and performs unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure scalable and efficient execution aligned with business and technical requirements2. Codes, tests, and debugs new software or makes enhancements to existing software3. Develops and reviews programs and database objects based on business requirements and technical design specifications4. Develops technical documentation5. Resolves in a timely manner problems that arise with existing production applications to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application components6. Designs and implements scalable database structures, including data models (OLTP and dimensional models)7. Collaborates with technical staff to learn and understand software problems8. Generates a variety of complex and periodic reports and/or data through database management, data administration and data extraction techniques9. Provides general system users and management with system analysis and feedback10. Influences system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements11. Performs advanced SQL performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis12. Mentors and coaches less experienced staff13. Maximizes the efficiency of the various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing and auditing new software programs14. Conducts code reviews and enforces development standards and best practices across the team15. Analyzes and resolves computer related problems by coordinating with inhouse personnel to diagnose and fix operational difficulty, as well as consulting, advising and training on specialized features and functions16. Follows established configuration/change control processes17.
