As a Data Scientist on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.\r\nAs a Software Data Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon AI-related requirements. You will develop software solutions for AI-driven automation and efficiency gains, and design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and tools tailored to the operational needs of the customer. You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement mission requirements into technical solutions. #MDFSP #AJCM\r\nQualifications\r\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Required:\r\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or appropriate field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of demonstrated experience in Software Engineering, OR\r\nMaster's or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or appropriate field from an accredited college or university and zero (0) years of experience, OR\r\nSix (6) years of Software Engineering experience with a high school diploma or GED would also be acceptable.\r\nExperience with Prompt Engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)\r\nPosition requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph\r\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Desired:\r\nAble to work in a collaborative environment as a team player.\r\nFamiliarity with commercial and open-source AI/ML frameworks and platforms\r\nExperience designing, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models (LLMs)\r\nAbility to analyze data structures and data objects\r\nApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\r\nPeraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan.\r\nTarget Salary Range\r\n$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
