Join our team and promote progress together with us!\nAs a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the efficient implementation of the department-centric project portfolio and maintaining common engineering processes and systems. The Senior Project Engineer works closely with the Production or SCM Director and leadership team, peer Engineering staff, Finance, Maintenance, EHS and Sustainability partners to ensure that plant capital is efficiently and properly deployed. The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation and oversite of all engineering project processes and systems.\nSr. Project Engineer\n\nYour Tasks\nAccountable for the efficient and proper allocation of the capital budget.\nAccountable for the development, implementation and oversite of engineering project processes and systems\nFEL Project development process\nCapital project portfolio, including approvals, multi-year budget / implementation plan\nDocument management system\nCompliance to change related systems MOC, PSSR, Risk review, Hazop, etc.\nPost project critique and performance evaluation\nAccountable for the Management of Change (MOC), Hazard Study and PSSR processes.\nAccountable for project progress tracking and deviation management to ensure engineering delivers design on time and budget.\nResponsible for personal project deliverables, forecasting, and broader portfolio deliverables\nResponsible for aligning project systems with Aurubis corporate engineering processes and standards\nResponsible for establishing metrics to monitor and improve various project engineering systems\nResponsible for the staffing (supplemental contracting if needed) support, establishing MSAs, RFQs and selection for project, contractor management, review MSAs, supplier performance evaluation, coordination, etc.\nYour Profile\nBachelor or Master’s in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or related field.\nProfessional Engineering (PE) license, or another similar credential (CESCP, CPSE) is preferred.\nProject management certification is preferred\n10+ years Industrial Capital Project Engineering experience ($50k – $5M+ projects)\nDemonstrated engineering management experience.
