Apply via Dice today!Location: Bellevue or DallasClient : InfosysDomain : TelecommunicationsVisa: IndependentPlease note, in particular, We need someone that is very familiar with BGP/OSPF, vlans, spine leaf architecture, hybrid cloud, firewalls, etc.Role Summary:Senior Infrastructure & Network Architect responsible for designing and governing enterprise network and infrastructure solutions, with a primary focus on core networking (BGP/OSPF), data center architecture, and hybrid cloud connectivity, along with working knowledge of observability and infrastructure operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and architect scalable, secure network solutions across DC, WAN, and hybrid cloud environmentsOwn architecture for routing & switching (BGP, OSPF), VLAN segmentation, and firewall designLead data center architecture initiatives including spine-leaf, VXLAN/EVPN, and DC consolidation/migrationDefine and implement hybrid cloud networking (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) including VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and interconnectsProvide architectural guidance for network monitoring, observability, and performance optimizationEvaluate existing infrastructure and drive modernization, resiliency, reliability and capacity improvementsCollaborate with infra, security, and application teams to ensure end-to-end service reliabilityDefine migration strategies and lead complex cutover events with minimal business disruption.Hands-on experience with open-source networking and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch (ELK), or NagiosFamiliarity with Linux-based networking environments and troubleshooting across open-source stacksExperience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python scripting for network/infrastructure provisioningExposure to open-source SDN / networking technologies (e.g., Open vSwitch, ONAP, Kubernetes networking, CNI plugins)Experience integrating cloud-native and open-source monitoring solutions in hybrid cloud environmentsExposure to container networking (Docker/Kubernetes) and its impact on enterprise network architectureFamiliarity with community-driven standards, APIs, and open networking frameworksMust-Have SkillsStrong hands-on expertise in:BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP fundamentalsVLANs, routing/switching, firewall technologiesDeep understanding of:Data center networking (Spine-Leaf, SDN, VXLAN)Hybrid cloud networking (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform connectivity)Experience with:Data center consolidation / migration programsEnterprise network architecture and design (HLD/LLD)Good exposure to:Network monitoring & infrastructure observability toolsLoad balancing, segmentation, and security architectureNice to HaveExperience with SD-WAN, SASE, automation/Ansible/TerraformExposure to observability platforms (NetFlow, Cloud monitoring)Certifications: CCNP / CCIE (preferred)Required Qualifications15+ years in network/infrastructure with recent architect-level experienceProven track record in large-scale enterprise or telecom environmentsAbility to bridge architecture with operations (design + real-world implementation)Preferred CertificationsCCNP/CCIE (Enterprise, Data Center, or Service Provider)AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
