The EHS Advisor will be the primary resource to line managers and employees to achieve the company’s EHS goal of hazard free workplace through risk analysis and ensuring workforce compliance and awareness.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities Ensure all employees are trained, and progress is tracked for EHS safety processes and procedures, to include New Hire Orientation, Annual and Remedial training programs.\nMonitor health, and safety compliance by conducting workplace inspections and audits.\nProvide interpretation and implementation regulatory requirements to ensure federal, state, and local rules, regulations and codes are in compliance with the current established standards.\nEnsure all EHS documentation and records are collected and maintained in accordance with company operating practices.\nAssist line management in the conduction of investigations for accidents, near-misses, Substandard Hazard Condition Reporting, and employee suggestions/complaints.\nIdentifying root causes and trends.\nRecommending mitigation methods.\nEnsure documentation is completed, filed, and shared within the company system.\nReview and audit corrective actions for completeness and effectiveness.\nAs well as recommending accident prevention methods.\nCollaborates with US Services Team Members to develop procedures, policies, and training materials for a centralized US-Services EHS program.\nCommunicate, coordinate, and deploy company EHS directed initiatives with AOR.\nEvaluate and recommend improvements for hazard specific tasks and functions.\nManages OSHA 300 logs for AOR.\nActs as liaison between employee, management and Workers Compensation coordinator during workplace injury and illness management cycle.\nEvaluate workplace hazards through performing and review Job/Area Hazard assessments, safe work practices and pre-task documentation.\nBe an active leader in supporting and promoting core company values in exceeding EHS goals.\nPerform other administrative and miscellaneous duties as requested, directed, or assigned.\nEducation & Experience Requirements A bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related field and /or demonstrated 3 to 5 years of operational EHS experience.\nKnowledgeable in applicable standards and industry best practices (i.e., OSHA, NFPA, EPA, NIOSH, etc.).\nCSP or ASP working toward obtaining CSP preferred.\nIncident management, root cause analysis, and investigation skills; ensures appropriate corrective actions development, tracking and effectiveness reviews.\nKnowledgeable in Hazard Recognition and Mitigation Control.\nExperience in developing, implementing, and delivering training in formal presentations and out of the classroom (virtual sessions).\nExperience with operational use of computer-based tools such as an EHS Management System and MS Office application (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).\nLeadership – Mentor and build EHS capabilities in the AOR management by providing ongoing feedback and by providing opportunities to learn company EHS processes.\nFlexible – open to change, travel, and new information, rapidly adapting to evolving conditions and/or unexpected obstacles.\nDetail oriented – excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow through on assigned tasks.\nAutonomous – Able to set priorities while working under limited supervision.\nAnalytical Thinking/Problem Solving – capable of complex problem solving, be able to define problems/issues, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and recommend corrective actions.\nResults focused – driven to achieve mission goals in a timely manner.\nInterpersonal skills – Must be able to collaborate on projects, maintain effective professional relationships, and communicate clearly at all levels of the business.\nAdaptability – capable of working in a fast-paced environment, adapt to various situations, and prioritize multiple work assignments simultaneously.\nTeam Player – possess strong commitment to the collaborative team environment dynamic by communicating well with all levels of the company; developing strong professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure their involvement and commitment to EHS directives.\nPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions Work may be an indoor or outdoor environment.\nAbility to work extended work hours as the need arises, as in the case of emergencies at a worksite, may be required.\nAdditional Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States; client is not able to offer sponsorship at this time.\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check to be eligible for hire.\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement TRS Staffing Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
